This isn't bad at all setting up the blog & figuring it out wasn't bad at all. I thought setting up a blog would be harder than it this. I guess that since everyone & their dog has one it can't be too hard. I absolutely LOVE the avatar. I could play all day. It's playing dress up in your mother's, aunt's & cousins closet. You could probably throw in a cross dresser's closet too. It's not the big steps that get you hung up, it's the little things that get you stuck. I could play with the avatar all day & never get tired. All it is, is electronic paper dolls! And I loved paper dolls as a little girl.

Thing 2

I love that the author says that lifelong learning is attitudinal, that is a huge truth. I find it easy to accept problems as challenges, that is an approach that I try to embrace each day in every aspect of life. It makes dealing with this wacky world much easier. If you have a challenge it is easier to overcome than a problem for some reason. I think the biggest challenge will be to create my own toolbox of resources. I have confidence in myself as a learner, but the quote that really hit me between the eyes was "don't say it or think it, unless you want it to be true" I think that this is a very powerful statement. Don't put an idea or thought out there if you can't or won't get behind it.

Oh Boy! Here we go. This should be a blast! I love learning new stuff on the computer & web. This is the perfect way to do it. Having permission to play and at work no less. I have the best boss in the world. I hope that I can figure out ways to use it with my students. Also, I will enjoy reading other people's posts. I'm sure that they will be thought provoking. Graduate School was sort of set up this way but not so easy. Things have come a LONG way in a few short years.
